Zaatar is one of my all time favourite spices. It’s so versatile and pairs with so many food dishes! This time around I made zaatar twists using puff pastry dough and a simple mix of zaatar and olive oil. These didn’t last long in my house. They’re good dipped into labneh (strained yogurt) or eaten along side any meal.
I used 4×4 puff pastry sheets but feel free to use any size and just adjust the cooking time. This recipe is very forgiving. A little more or less in zaatar or size of puff pastry won’t be a problem at all!
