Chicken shawarma at home that tastes just like it’s from the restaurants!
Imagine bringing this to your dinner table! If you want to wow your guests, or even your family, this is a great way to do it! The chicken is moist and tender yet full of flavour!

Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 tbsp shawarma spice
1 tsp Lebanese 7 spices (or ½ tsp all spice)
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 crushed garlic cloves
½ tsp salt
1 red onion
1 large tomato
Instructions
Slice chicken into 3 thin strips, place in a bowl Add spices, lemon, yogurt, garlic & oil, stir to combine Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours Preheat oven to 400° Place a stainless steel paper towel holder in a roasting pan or oven safe dish. Score the onion and push the through to the bottom of the paper towel holder. Score chicken pieces and push through over the onion finishing off with the tomato. Cover the whole shawarma tower with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and cook for a further 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165° Slice chicken and wrap with your favourite toppings in markouk or pita bread. Enjoy!
