Refreshing and delicious, this mango and strawberry smoothie is quick and easy to make and only requires 4 ingredients!
During the summer months, I like to keep things light and airy in the kitchen. The kids are home from school and we spend a lot of time outside. Quick and easy is my motto and these smoothies are just that! The kids love them and I’m a huge fan too!
Sipping on a fruity drink always takes me back to laying on the beach in Mexico sitting by the ocean listening to the waves…. ah good times!
If I can’t be by the ocean, at least I can still drink the same drinks right? Right! 😉

HOW DO I MAKE IT?
These drinks come together in just a few minutes. It’s a matter of putting everything into a blender and turning it on. Super easy.
In a blender, you’ll add the milk then the frozen fruit. Next you’ll add the mango and maple syrup and blend it until it’s smooth.
I like to cut some extra mango and garnish each drink with mango pieces to snack on once they’re at the bottom of the glass. Adding a strawberry to the rim of the glass gives it a pretty look as well!

TIPS FOR MAKING THE SMOOTHIE
1. Add the milk to the blender first. This will prevent the frozen strawberries from getting stuck in the blades.
2. Use frozen strawberries. This will help thicken the smoothie without the need for ice which would water down.
3. Use a high speed blender when possible to really break down the fruit to ensure a smooth smoothie!

Ingredients
2 mangoes, diced
1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
1 cup milk of choice, I used 2%
1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
Place all the ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
Pour into a glasses.
Garnish with mango pieces and place a strawberry on the rim of the glass.
Notes
If the smoothie is too thick, add ¼ cup more milk. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add 1 more tablespoon maple syrup.
