Lebanese style meatball sandwiches that are oozing with melted cheese in a crispy sausage bun. YUM! These are so good! My kids ask me to make this for them at least twice a month. We love sandwiches in our home. I mean, what’s not to love? They’re quick and always a crowd pleaser.
I switched things up from the traditional meatball and turned it into Kafta meatballs. It’s kinda like a lebanese meets Italian meatball. I like to cook the kafta first then add in any pasta sauce I have on hand. Throw in some garlic and it’s half way done. This would be really good over spaghetti too! But today we’re working on those subs! I like to use sausage buns for these but you can use any sort of submarine buns you like. Once I add the meatball/sauce mixture, I top it off with a bunch of shredded cheese and bake it in the oven. Serve it with some cesar salad and dinner is ready!
Hope you love it as much as my family does!
