It’s the holiday season and that means it’s time for baking! I really enjoy baking with the kids. Yes, it can get messy, but every mess can easily be cleaned up. The memories we make are priceless!
I’m not a huge fan of really thick fudgy brownies. I know, I know, it’s not the most common thing you hear when asked about brownies. I have to admit, I prefer a cakey brownie. Still has all the delicious decadent taste of a brownie, just doesn’t stick to your mouth when you’re eating it! Haha. If you’re like me and you enjoy these types of brownies, this recipe is for you!
I had some icing on hand when I made these. If you don’t have any, feel free to spread pre-made icing on top or Nutella. We decided to keep with the holiday theme this time and cut the brownies into triangles. Sprinkled some sprinkles over the icing and inserted a paper straw for decor. These are fun for the kids (and adults!)
