Delicious and easy salmon that is great for a weeknight meal and ready in less than 20 minutes! It’s tender, perfectly flakey and takes very little prep.
Salmon is a great source of protein and has many health benefits. Although many people are intimidated by cooking a large salmon fillet, this recipe will get you perfect results every time.
Watch how I make this easy baked salmon HERE!
HOW DO I MAKE IT?
You’ll start by mixing the butter, oil, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Next, you’ll place the salmon on a parchment lined baking sheet and pour the butter mixture all over the salmon. Then you’ll bake it in a preheated oven. Once salmon is cooked, you’ll squeeze lemon over it.
TIPS TO MAKE THE SALMON:
1. Look for salmon that has a vibrant pink hue.
2. Squeeze lemon on the salmon as soon as it comes out of the oven.
3. Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness. When cooked, it should read 145 degrees in the thickest part of the salmon.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH THE SALMON?
This salmon goes really well so many sides! Since the salmon is quite large and can feed a crowd, I often serve it with mashed potatoes or rice. It also goes great with roasted vegetables and salad!
