Soft lady finger cookies with an airy chocolate whipped cream makes this dessert a delicious treat any time of the year!
I had some lady finger cookies in the pantry and these cookies are typically used in the classic Italian dessert called Tiramisu. I’m not a coffee drinker so I wasn’t planning on making a tiramisu with them. I am a major chocolate lover so it only made sense to make a chocolate dessert out of them!
I layered the cookies with whipped cream that has a delicious addition of chocolate hazelnut spread. Yum! Topped it off with some melted chocolate spread and some chocolate shavings. It took less than 20 minutes to put together. The hard part is waiting for it all to set in the fridge! Trust me though, it’s worth it! It’s a great dessert to make ahead and pull it out of the fridge when you have guests over!
