Soft bread, delicious homemade crispy chicken with marinara sauce and a whole lot of cheese! They’re so good!
I don’t know about you but I love a good sandwich. They’re so generally easy to make and come together quick. These sliders are just that! I use my classic chicken parmesan recipe for this. The panko crumbs give that crunchy texture and they’re pan fried until a beautiful dark golden brown.
Use any type of slider buns you can find, I usually get mine from Costco. In order for the buns not to get soggy, I add the shredded mozzarella cheese first then I spread marinara sauce. I just use any jar that I have on hand. The chicken is layered next and covered with more cheese. I like to bake these covered since the buns tend to brown quickly in the oven. Lightly tenting the sliders with foil will give a crispy but not burnt bun.
If you’ve got a game night coming up, these are perfect to feed a crowd!
