If you’re looking for a healthy and fulfilling breakfast, this ones for you! Full of fiber and a hint of sweetness from the banana, I’ve been making these oats on repeat! I love that these oats come together super quick which makes it a perfect weekday breakfast.
I like to use rolled oats for this recipe. Quick oats would work as well, they’re just a little more mushy after being cooked in the microwave. I start out with mashing half a banana then add the oats, milk, water and place into the microwave for a couple minutes. Be sure to use a bowl big enough otherwise it will overflow and nobody likes a mess in the microwave!
I like to garnish with the remaining banana, some blueberries and chia seeds. Feel free to add any other fruit or nuts!

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup milk of choice
½ cup water
1 banana, halved
2 tbsp blueberries
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp chia seeds
Instructions
In a bowl, mash half of a banana.
Add oats, milk & water.
Stir and microwave for 2 minutes.
Slice remaining banana into slices.
Allow to cool slightly then garnish with remaining banana.
Drizzle with honey and chia seeds.
